XTRA Lightening plus 5x5ml is an anti-dark spot clarifying agent with peptides which, by reducing melanin synthesis, reduces age spots and freckles.

The skin then regains its radiance, luminosity and transparency thanks to this depigmenting action.

Protocol

Before starting treatment, the patient's history should be established and the patient should be informed of the immediate effects of the treatment, as well as possible side effects.

The treatment must be carried out by a professional authorized to practice these techniques.

This product can be used with a derma roller or a derma pen (microneedling) or by superficial injections.

A maximum of one vial per session should be used. The treatment can for example last 3 months at the rate of one session per week.

It is possible to space out the sessions further and extend the treatment over a longer period.

You can then apply a moisturizer or a soothing mask to calm the irritation and prolong the effects of the product.

Composition - XTRA Lightening plus 5 x 5 ml

Hyaluronic Acid : Thanks to its elastic qualities and its richness in water, hyaluronic acid gives the skin a smooth and plump appearance. It also has an anti-ageing effect thanks to its tensor effects which contribute to erasing the furrows due to skin aging.

Arbutin : effectively inhibits the activity of tyrosinase and, therefore, the production of melanin. Thanks to structural similarities with the substrates of tyrosinase, arbutin acts following a mechanism of binding competition in the active regions of the enzyme.

Additionally, Arbutin has the ability to inhibit the Polymerase (5,6-dihydroxy-indole-2-carboxylic acid) product DHICA resulting from the oxidation of tyrosine.

Glycyrrhiza uralensis (licorice) root extract : inhibition of the enzyme tyrosinase, and mild melanin and color reducing action.

Licorice extract also has anti-inflammatory properties by inhibiting superoxide anion synthesis and cyclooxygenase activity.

Anti-aging effect to effectively absorb UVA and B rays. Anti-radical.

3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid : The depigmenting activity of ascorbic acid is due both to its tyrosinase inhibitory action and its ability to reduce dopaquinone to DOPA, which can also prevent melanin formation.

Oligopeptide-50 : Inhibits melanin synthesis by inhibiting tyrosinase. Changes the morphology of melanocytes . Induces the reduction of melanin synthesis and the formation of melanosomes in melanocytes. Inhibits melanogenesis marker expression.

Oligopeptide-34 : inhibits melanin synthesis. Reduces tyrosinase activity. It produces a decrease in the formation of melanosomes in the treated melanocytes.

Oligopeptide-51 inhibits the expression of the melanogenesis marker. It inhibits the synthesis of melanin . Induces morphological changes in melanocytes.

Glutathione: Glutathione has an SH reducing group.

This functional group can form a complex with copper and by reducing dopaquinone. Glutathione induces the formation of pheomelanin from dopaquinone.
