Durolane - bioventus is an injectable solution based on hyaluronic acid in the form of a viscoelastic gel indicated in cases of osteoarthritis of mild to moderate intensity.

This gel is intended for intra-articular injection to relieve pain, improve mobility and absorb the shocks to which it is subjected.
Viscosupplementation consists of the injection of a liquid with viscoelastic properties in order to compensate for the loss of quality and quantity of synovial fluid, particularly in the case of osteoarthritis. The synovia functions like a cushion, preventing the ends of the bones from rubbing against each other.
