BD Microlance 3 Hypodermic Needles
Becton Dickinson Microlance 3 hypodermic needles are sterile, single-use needles used for injection procedures (e.g. intradermal, subcutaneous, intramuscular and intravenous injection) and/or aspiration of fluids medical .
They are designed for maximum efficiency and improved patient comfort. Their triple-beveled tip and silicone lubrication give them a good penetration index . The thin wall (on models that have it) allows for improved flow during injection or withdrawal times.
Microlance 3 needles have translucent hubs that fit Luer and Luer Lock cone syringes . Their color code (in accordance with the ISO 6009 standard "Non-reusable hypodermic needles - Color code for identification") allows their rapid identification.
Composition Microlance 3 needles:
- Needle hub and protector: polypropylene (PP)
- Needle: stainless steel (contains 9-9.75% nickel and 18-19% chromium)
- Cannula/base attachment: epoxy resin
- Lubricant: silicone oil
- Marking inks
