Mepivacaine belongs to the same family as lidocaine; it has been marketed since 1964 and is widely used, particularly in dentistry. It is a safe and well-known anesthetic. Equally effective as lidocaine, mepivacaine, however, induces less vasodilation.  

Stylage Special Lips Mepivacaine uses an innovative and patented technology, the IPN-Like technology. The STYLAGE® range is manufactured in Paris, France and has CE marking.

Properties of the gel

Thanks to IPN-Like technology, its gel combines anti-radical, stabilizing (thermal), and safety properties due to its biocompatibility. The gel also contains Mannitol, an antioxidant with moisturizing functions that helps protect the treated area.

The gel of Stylage Special Lips Mepivacaine is flexible and very easy to shape for an effortless application and a sensual, harmonious result. It distributes evenly in the dermis. Its distribution is homogeneous. This product does not cause discomfort, and it is rare to feel the substance at the injection sites.

It does not cause social eviction either and allows the resumption of daily activities immediately after injection.

Targeted areas – Range Stylage

More precisely, the Stylage Special Lips Mepivacaine is injected into the following areas:

• Lip contours
• The lips (To gain volume or rehydrate against the symptoms of red lips)
• Peri-buccal rides
• Philtral ridges (for enhancing the Cupid's bow)

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to one of the components present in the product.
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Minor children
• Do not inject into areas with skin problems of infectious or inflammatory types.
• Avoid areas that have already been treated with a permanent filler product.

Usage Protocol

This product must be administered by authorized professionals.

To maintain the effects of Stylage Special Lips Mepivacaine, it is recommended to repeat the injection approximately every 6-9 months. This product is injected at the mid to deep dermis level.

Injection into or around the labial mucosa according to techniques (retrofitting, microbulus) using a needle or cannula.
