Mepivacaine belongs to the same family as lidocaine, it has been on the market since 1964 and is very widely used, especially in dentistry, it is a safe and well-known anesthetic. Just as effective as lidocaine, mepivacaine however induces less vasodilation.

Stylage Special Lips Mepivacaïne uses an innovative and patented technology, the IPN-Like technology. The STYLAGE® range is manufactured in Paris, France and benefits from CE marking.

Gel properties

Thanks to IPN-Like technology, its gel combines anti-radical, stabilizing (thermal) and reassuring properties thanks to its biocompatibility. The gel also contains Mannitol, an antioxidant with moisturizing functions and which helps protect the treated area.

The Stylage Special Lips Mepivacaïne gel is supple and very easy to shape for easy application and a sensual and harmonious result. It distributes evenly in the dermis. Its distribution is homogeneous. This product does not cause discomfort and it is uncommon to feel the substance in the injected areas.

It also does not lead to social eviction and allows the resumption of daily activities immediately after injection.

Targeted areas – Stylage range

More specifically, Stylage Special Lips Mepivacaïne is injected into the following areas:

• Lip contours
• Lips (To gain volume or rehydrate against red lip symptoms)
• Peri-oral wrinkles
• Philtral crests (for an enhancement of Cupid's bow)

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to one of the components present in the product.
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Minor children
• Do not inject into areas with infectious or inflammatory skin problems.
• Avoid areas already treated with a permanent filler.

Protocol of use

This product must be administered by authorized professionals.

To maintain the effects of Stylage Special Lips Mepivacaine, it is recommended to repeat the injection approximately every 6-9 months. This product is injected into the medium to deep dermis.

Injection into or around the labial mucosa using techniques (retrotracing, microbulus) with a needle or cannula.
